Go to http://www.intel.com/design/motherbd/bz/bz_bios.htm
which should be the BIOS details for your MOBO.  Please
double check that the model number given there is absolutely
110 per cent correct.

Read up very carefully on the three "How do I use..."
options, and decide which of the first two you wish to use.
The second option is probably the best and safest.

You choice is going to very much depend on said 9 year old
lady.  It's a very big responsibility for such young
shoulders.

Hi George,

Thanks for this and sorry for the late reply I did not
notice your message among all the excitement.

So, how does one go about updating the bios?

I presume that there must have been problems with this board
as this seems a large number of updates.

If I can work out how to do it, I will see if I can bribe my
9 year old to lend me her eyes although it is the wrong side
of chrismas and I do not have much to bargain with.
