Hi
I was going to tell you how to dismiss the tool bar, but you say you have
unchecked standard and formatting and the problems are still occurring.
To be honest, the product which I have always found to work best with jaws
4.51 upwards is windows messenger version 4.7. See if you have that under
programs, if you are running windows XP.
Other than this, when in the conversation window, press alt, then alt again.
If you do this things should settle down and start working.
