From recent messages on the list (including one yesterday, which I
accidentally deleted!), I have got the impression that some ISPs
provide CDs which install antivirus, anti spyware etc. software in
addition to what is needed to access their service. I think that BT
Yahoo was mentioned.
I intend in the near future to switch to Broadband and a new ISP, but
want to choose my own defences - and particularly to remain a
"Symantec free zone".
I would appreciate any advice on ISPs who make such a requirement
difficult if not impossible.
