On Thursday, February 20, 2020 from approximately 1030-430PM my wife and I
spent the day in the Buena Vista Grassland area. For our troubles we were
rewarded with 3 Snowy Owls, 2 Bald Eagles, 2 Norther Harriers, 1 Northern
Shrike, 1 American Kestrel , numerous Rough Legged Hawks, snow buntings, Horned
Larks, tree sparrows, juncos, blue jays and others. It never got above single
digit high temps but the sun was shining brightly. If you get the chance, make
the trip!
