I don't know -how- to do it, but I know we recently had a site developed where people design a sign online and the generated graphic is stored into a database. The developers require ASP.net to get things working, according to them it couldn't be done in ASP (either couldn't or couldn't be done easily). I'm not an ASP person though, so this is all second hand. YMMV. -Aaron ----------------------- Aaron Dokey - MIS Reid Tool Supply 2265 Black Creek Rd. Talking abt. IIS & SQL Server... why is it so hard to store images (uploaded from web site) into SQL Server using IIS? (Anyone tried doing it with ASP.Net? Only technique that really works is to create a dummy web page that streams the content into another. Amazing. No wonder porn webmasters don't want to use IIS/SQL Server -- they work with image files all the time! -- plus then there's the soul losing issue... :) ) A.- -----Original Message----- From: windows2000-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:windows2000-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Costanzo, Ray Sent: Friday, October 11, 2002 9:22 AM To: 'windows2000@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [windows2000] Re: Sus and apache? I think Sony was a big part of the reason for the success of VHS since they were so greedy with their Beta-Max format, which was much better. Figures. Yeah, there does seem to be a lot of technology in the world, but what I don't like about it, is there are probably 10 out of God knows how many sites that actually run on a Windows server with IIS. Everything's Apache or Free BSD and uses PHP and stuff. And MySQL. If I ever find someone running a successful adult site on a Windows Server running IIS and using SQL Server, I'll be sending him my resume!
