[windows2000] Re: Forum for Windows XP Pro & Win 2k Server

Speaking of Xp -
Does anyone else think the Add & Remove Programs Dialog is just too slow?

As a developer - I install many controls, programs - VisualStudio Net, VS6
etc....
When we click on Add & Remove Programs - we then know it's time for a
coffee break. It can take from 2 to 4 minutes for the program listing to
show up.

Try that in Win2K - and you will be lucky to even get the cup of coffee!
And you can't blame it on 1.8Ghz Intel Board, 1GB Ram and other hardware.

However - M$ can't fix everything - because if it was perfect - who would
upgrade? {g}
But I have to agree - Win2KPro - is by far the best OS M$ has produced!

Regards
MWM
