That's what I was thinking too... but since I don't have a ton of
experience with RIS, I decided to be quiet... (No longer!)

It does have more than one NIC, but the service is bound only to the
inside network, as it should be. When the service is running, it works
fine dishing out IPs. The only thing I've done recently is to install
RIS to another machine (different ip, obviously), but I've checked
that it was only ris, not dhcp service as well.
