You can read about the various MSVad samples here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff537517(VS.85).aspx From: wdmaudiodev-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:wdmaudiodev-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Sarbojit Sarkar Sent: Tuesday, May 03, 2011 10:28 PM To: wdmaudiodev@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [wdmaudiodev] Re: Question on Virtual audio driver. Thanks a lot Robert for your so quick response.:) Though I have googled quite a bit about virtual audio driver but I have not gone through any document or link so far because I was not sure from where to start. Surely I will look into the link given by you. But it will be great if you can tell me or give some link/docs where each of these folders are explained in details. Yes, for below Vista you need something like the MSVAD. I'd go with the "Simple" MSVAD, as it does allow you to create what you want (albeit with quite some additional effort over what's available in the DDK, and unfortunately I know of no public source for it). Have you considered going with read-to-go alternatives, such as Virtual Audio Cable (http://software.muzychenko.net/eng/vac.htm) ?
