You actually don't *need* your WPK. What you have to do is detailed in
our Dropbox in a file called "Install Windows 10 From Scratch.txt". In
case you don't have access to our Dropbox (yet), here's the relevant
stuff you'll need to know and do. Things in braces were added by me to
improve clarity in a couple cases.
1. You need a Windows 10 DVD or ISO image for that. Make sure you pick
the right architecture and version. I mean, if you have windows 7 pro
installed, you need the ISO or DVD of windows 10 pro.
2. Burn the ISO, mount it or extract it.
3. Navigate to the folder{Windows 10 installation media disk}:\sources
and copy the file "gatherosstate.exe" and paste it to the {Windows 7}
desktop.
4. Run the file afterwards with administrators right. It creates a
file called "GenuineTicket.xml" on the desktop. This file is needed so
copy it to a USB drive or other location.
5 Run a clean install of Windows 10 afterwards on the system. Make
sure you skip the product key {dialog}.
6. Once you are done and in Windows 10, copy the file
"GenuineTicket.xml" to
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\ClipSVC\GenuineTicket.
7. The folder is hidden by default. If you cannot see it, select File
Options > View > Show hidden files, folders and drives in FileExplorer.
