I totally get that. But considering that I’ve had so many problems every time
I have to reimport my INZ file, and considering that I can simply kill the
unknown function call notice by hitting CTRL, I’ve opted to sit tight until the
next full build comes out. I’ll deal with everything then.

Yes. I believe I do. It doesn't happen all the time. And I just kill it by
hitting CTRL. I never did do the hot fix because I did it wrong and then
reverted to the last operable condition.
Like I said, next full version, I'll install from scratch. 'Til then...,

I have the same problem with unknown function calls. If I stop speech with
CTRL, they stop and everything works fine, eventually.

Actually with jaws 16 you shouldn’t have any problems. However that being
said I’d definitely recommend 17 or 18. But if you keep having trouble I’ll
help you out with a tandum if you want. Just let me know and we’ll setup a
time.

I’m in jaws 16, I was cringing away from getting jaws 18 but I may have no
choice then?

Liu,
what is your Jaws version? I got this with Jaws 14 but not with 18 anymore.
I'm on window 7 64 bits.
cheers,

few, been at this for three days, things are looking good, last problem I
encountered was that samplitude when I press y to do the ins file thing
took jaws away
there should be an additional step for persons doing this alone, telling
them to send jaws to another soundcard before trying to press y to open
the ins file diologue. I thought that samplitude kept crashing on me, I
had already typed out half the instructions of what I was doing in an
email to send here but then I took a picture with my phone and sent it to
someone and they said that everything looked normal, and then it hit me
and I hooked up another sound card to the system and routed jaws to it and
boom now I have everything up and running, just reinstalling plugins now.
so excited.

Windows 10 64 bit 8 gb ram quad core processor 240gb ssd for programs 1tb
wd black performance drive for samples
well, I downloaded the trial and I’m putting in my serial for offline
activation on my studio system.
however, I’m not sure where I’m going rong, I click on activate with
serial number.
and it just takes me back to the serial number field.
is it that I didn’t put in the numbers correctly? this window isn’t moving
and it keeps going back to the edit field after I’ve typed in the numbers.
how do I know when I’ve put in the numbers correctly, they say not to put
in the dashes and I didn’t.
can anyone verify for me if its supposed to be 30 digits or what’s going
on here?
thanks.
