I like to add one more thing, Phil Steve and everyone has open our eyes to so
much, but it’s easy to confuse a shift left or Shift or right arrow verses Alt
left or right arrow.
We still need a group session to explain to some of us where our short comings
are. The Tutorials we do have are very well put together though.

Hey Liu, I think a workshop or Team talk session would be a good suggestion for
all of us to have, and especially with someone on the list who can demo this in
a real time environment. Like you, I’m in the same boat, and no matter how I
study the HTML document, I’m running in to the same problem.
There’s a lot of information here, and unlike the CT tutorials and configuring
sonar before getting up and running is a little more complex. Some of us get it
better than others.
At least the VIP window now makes a little sense to me now, but there is still
a lot to learn. Not enough time to work on projects while you’re learning.
I’ve manage to get a recording but only two bars or so. I haven’t figured out
midi tracks verses audio tracks yet, and I haven’t figured out how to make my
keyboards to talk with the program as of yet. JPR sent us a link to a download,
and I installed the program. But yet I haven’t had a chance to match up my INS
files for my boards. Nor have I’ve been able to get the instruments from the
independents pro to work.
I would love it if we could all share ideas on how to have things explained
just a little more but maybe where it’s a little more understandable. So far,
what we have is good if you are not a beginner in this program. Once we get an
idea on what to do, we’ll be off and running.

uhh... I have no idea how to go about doing this, because shift+left arrow and
shift+right arrow don’t do it for me.
it says something about range end extended by transport.
how do I select an object, I feel like this information is somewhere in the
html, but I can’t seem to put jaws on the line with that information.
thanks for the patience guys

Well usually in order to do that you would actually have to select something.

TVTM
hi guys, so I’m back to wanting to quantize again,
is it only possible to quantise by creating an object?
is it only possible to interact with an object for quantisation by first
pressing f9?
I’m hoping not, because that’s how I got quantisation to work last night.
that was so many steps to quantise 8 bars of music.
I remember being able to just press t at the start of the selection, t at the
end. alt left arrow and ctrl q and boom
how come that doesn’t work anymore? or am I doing it the rong way?
when I push alt left arrow it says:
no selected object check your timeline zoom ratio with ctrl plus windows +
left arrow or select an object
I’m confuzzled.
please help? and thankies.
