_all right Steve. So I reopen the project I was working on yesterday. At first, I couldn't get Samplitude to act strange again. Then, I Remembered what I did yesterday, I used EQ 116 on the track. So I did the same but on another track. After closing EQ 116, I discovered that yet another track, one that I didn't touch, showed up as a tempo track. Then I did what you said, tabbed around and activated its solo button, not using the shortcut but the enter key. after that, I could activate its volume shortcut as expected._

_Does this make sense to you?_

_Cheers,_

_Hi JP. Thanks for the info. It certainly sounds like a zooming issue. The problem is that there are times when a track can be zoomed out, and this might happen when certain actions are taken, knowing exactly and consistently is the key here._

__

_I’m hopefully going to change the current way to identify a tempo track, as it’s obviously too flaky. I have a new build ready to put out, so I’ll try to get something done today or tomorrow and then I’ll release the new scripts. If it happens again, could you just try tabbing across the track header, so to solo, mute etc, and see if that resolves things, because I’m sure I put some stuff in to zoom the track to the correct ratio when doing that and controls cannot be found. Thanks again._

_Hi Steve,___

_so, that tempo thing showed up again, but I was in the middle of a session with other musicians And couldn't experiment too much. This time, opening and closing the browser did not work, but I found another workaround. This message saying unavailable this is a tempo track appears when Typing Hotkeys like alt l, alt p or g. but if I tab to the volume field and press enter, it does open. And I think, though I'm not entirely sure, that after changing a tracks volume, the other hotkeys start working again on this particular track. When it happens, it happens on some tracks and not others, and I can't for the moment tell what's particular about those tracks. Furthermore, I have no tempo track on these projects.___

_I can't remember if you said you could reproduce that at least once on your system.___

_I keep investigating.___
