Eleanor,

The typing mode only appears in the rotor when you are actually in an open
edit field. If you are elsewhere on the screen in browse mode the typing
mode will not appear.

All the best,

Hi Paul you will have read my similar response to Aine but then I decided to
try it out myselfbut I could not find the typing option in the rota though I
was in the edit field. Had lots of choices but no typing. I had even written
one character and ensuring I was in the edit field.
