The AmigaOS builds of E-UAE have an AREXX interface which allows this sort of thing, but I haven't done much with it for a while, and it definitely needs to be expanded upon. A definite must for this sort of remote interface would be to allow configuration options to be manipulated. For instance, the remote GUI would say something like "set cpu_speed=real" and E-UAE would do that. Using the same option format as config files would keep things nice and simple.
