sharing the ui is nice, but perhaps when you plan a
python qt gui it isn't necessary to do a c++ one
anymore.

I tought about a pyqt version that could be kde enhanced if pykde is available.
But I guess that a pyqt gui is not as cool on other OSes. It's easy
under linux because the pyqt packages are installed by default in most
modern distros. Don't know about Macosx (even don't know if there's a
GPL version of Qt3 under OSX, and under windows I know that it is not
GPL'ed)

Maybe it would be wise to wait pyqt4 which will be available on all
OSes and GPLed

(correct me if I'm wrong)
