ever hear of perpetual motion?... and found any machine that works using
perpetual motion..... well that is the skinny on internet spped boosters....
aint noe...... it all depends upon what your concetion does.. if you connect
at 33.6 or 14.4 or 48.6,, then aint nuttin ya'all can do other than get cable
or dsl to speed up....there are regsitry settings that can be changed, but
then it would require those settings to be made every time to compensate for
web traffic which will slow dwn and speed up as traffic levels change. If
using dial up it also will be chnaging daily depended uypon line losses which
change again on daily use of phone lines etc with traffic but more so... so
in essence unfortuantely is a lost cause to belive any of the hype
about"speedups".
see Joe has sent you a couple of sites.. check them out and
you will see waht I am saying about making registry settings that may help
and may not ... a lot of the changes have a range of seetings to use and
would need to be gone thru individually to find the right combo, but then, next
day is not the same. Even ones for dsl and cable are same way.... have treid
all the names and none were to any advantage that couod be seen that made an
absolute change in speed due to nothing is done that can change the
connection speed of your modem and phone line. What they do is allow more
hops to more servers in pursuit of finding more open connections to the site
you are atempting to reach. But that in turn increases your bandwidth usage
and consequently begins to slow other connections down. A losing battle.....
if have it available.. dsl or cable.. or win the lotto and go
sattelite
                                     chuck... in Ok
