[THIN] Re: OT: Sorta...Idea....Consultants Consortium

I can see the benefits of the idea behind this....I just think it needs =
to
be crystalized for everyone can see many catches and openings in how to
determine which consultant is good and who's not.

I think that's the main question, how to determine who qualifies for the
"Thinnet logo" and  who doesn't.
The list consists of a reasonable group of die-hard solvers and a much
greater group of just readers and probably askers. (have to admit that =
last
weeks I've been more a non-reader due to illnesses at home).

I find it hard to see the large group of readers, who do not provide any
answer ever (which is their good right...don't get me wrong)...to be
qualified with the "Thethinnet" logo. Any thoughts on this would be
welcome......

...If we can figure this out, I'm the first to join..........

Grx
Rob

Keep up the good work.....the list is our life line in business.

I agree about the rating system. A better consultant may be rated lower =

than a lower level consultant simply because of a difference in =
standards by

the people who did the rating.

The "thethin.net recommended" sounds like an awesome idea. However, I =
would

recommend some kind of controls. I don't think someone should be=20
recommended simply by paying. That could weaken the reputation of =
thethin=20
if people misrepresent themselves. Thethin is probably the most=20
comprehensive and respected site on thin client technologies. I would =
like=20
to see it stay that way.

With regard to the fee, is this a one time fee or an annual fee?

Lastly, would you be setting this up for individuals, companies, or =
both?
