I also enjoyed sharing my place (Christmas Mountains Oasis) with Steve last July (2012). I just wish I could remember details of his visit, but like Lori's place, Steve loved places that were off the beaten path. I'm sure my miles of bad roads didn't phase him at all. I warned him that it was remote, about 20 miles from the nearest town, with 5+ miles of caliche road through several creek crossings, and SIX hand gates to open and close. That didn't phase him a bit! He relished the drive in, thought it an adventure, and was tickled with the good birds we got. And when we got to the core of the place and we stood high up on the side of one of the canyons he gazed at the view, quiet and smiling. After several moments he turned and said he thought it was beautiful. It gave me great pleasure to share VR with him because he appreciated the peaceful beauty of the place. Steve, thanks for sharing so much of yourself with us, you were totally cool.
