You can't estimate any TV over the phone. I have had lightning damaged sets
that only had the line fuse open. It all depends on how bad it was hit. I
have had customers set TVs ,VCR, etc. aside and wait for a lightning storm
and bring them in for a free lightning repair from their insurance Co.. It
does not work, and I can tell if lightning has really hit most times. When
you have 1/8 inch on dust on all the inputs to the TV its a red alert that
something is fishy
