Don't be trying to put junk parts in an expensive TV. Get the Right lamp, AND FIX THE BALLAST. The problem with most manufacturers lamps is that the Ballast requires modifications be cause they are improperly matched. This goes for Panasonic, and Sony. To a lesser degree, RCA. Although RCA has not had lamp problems they have a notice to be sure not to mix the lamps and ballasts.
