Tom, As our business name implies Audio is something we see a lot of. I learned a very long time ago NOT to use ECG/NTE subs in an audio aplication, particularly for outputs. You will probably see it back again with the same transistors shot, along with a bunch of others that were not the first time. BTW, When replacing outputs you should always at least replace the drivers whether they measure good or not as a kind of walking wounded situation often exists with them. Its up to you if you want to chance it, and who knows, you might get lucky.....but I wouldnt. As far as the 1302/3281 nte subs...no.....dont use them. In my experience with them, they will fail, as I had some on hand when the jap originals were out of stock. I used them and paid the price 3 days later. Never again. Hope this gives you a definitive answer to your question.
