Leonard, Couldn't you use a HDTV type DVD player with the DVD Test Disc
patterns we have been discussing to generate a HDTV signal with
patterns?
I assume the HDTV DVD would soon become reasonably priced.This would be
a good HDTV signal source for testing without an expensive sig-gen..
