I've delivered countless TVs in cold weather and never had a problem. I was surprised one day when I found most of the small TV modules (1970's) in my truck broken in half. I first thought, who would do that? (I had no employees at that time). Then I realized the temp. had dropped to 18 degrees below zero that week. Apparently the copper shrinks at a different rate than the board material.
