[TechAssist] Computer Question

I am trying to learn more about computers and I have one here that I am
messing around with. When its booting up,I press delete to get to the
setup menu and I do but its asking for the password which I don't know.
Would this be a bios password that its asking for or what? I wanted to
check all settings but cannot do so because its password protected.
Is there a way to get pass this so that I can get into setup? Thanks.
