that is what i plan on doing with mine like i sad on the DAC site i think Garrett or somebody was talking about doing that and that it works. for a hole the size of my finger and a slight soft spot i think por 15 would be much easier then welding in a new patch.

oh and heat in a shop is wonderful :-) i will heat up my shop to like 100 and then turn off the heater to stop the risk of fume explosion and lay that shtuff on.

Brian, I used POR 15 on Sparky with good results. I wire brushed the rust, then painted it on. It actualy sticks much better to the rust then to paint. I had a couple of small holes in the front floor board and repaired them with some fiberglass cloth and POR15. Here's a link to my website showing how I did it.
