Hi Elspbeth, It's good to see you posting here <Smiles>I just thought I'd tell you that the N86 may still be available from Sight & Sound, if they have any left. I have recently purchased one, along with other software. This is probably going to be more than you want to pay, but it was quite a good deal.
I was quite tempted with the N97 myself as others have talked about it on this list so I'm sure they'll give you good feedback.
I hope you'll find what you need soon and at a reasonable price. -- Carol carol.pearson29@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx On Twitter: http://twitter.com/songbird49a ---- Original Message ---- From: "ELSPETH PEARCE" <elspeth_pearce@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <talks-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, May 28, 2010 9:58 PM Subject: [talks-uk] (talks-uk) - Choosing a new mobile
Hi folks: I know this subject has been discussed in depth, but I find myself in a position of having to upgrade my phone, as my old N95 GB is beginning to give me grief, and I am due an upgrade on my O2 account. I really would have liked the N86, but none of the companies are supplying this one, and I am not in a position to shell £300 or so to get one. I have looked at what carphone Warehouse have to offer and the two I am thinking of are the N97 (large) or the E72. Firstly, is the E72 a touch or key phone? And secondly, is the qerty keyboard keys or a flat screen on the N97? Any help and advice, or if you feel inclined, any further suggestions I should look at. I'm a little apprehensive about biting the bullet where touch screens are concerned, but several of you folks seem to be using and enjoying them, so I'll hear what you have to say, see if I can have a look at some phones, and then make a decision. Many thanks in advance for any help you may be able to give.Elspeth
