Hi Eleanor,
I am not going into this in detail, but they are paranoid about KNFB Reader
and its copy protection.
So much so that you should first contact your dealer, who will instruct you
how to deactivate it on your old phone, then you will be able to reactivate
it on your new one.
If you can't deactivate it, then your dealer should be able to get it
deactivated for you.
But this is not a process they let you do yourself.
All the best
Steve

Surely KMFB reader goes by IMEI and could be re-installed on the same phone.
Very strange if not. Don't you have the code to put in again? I certainly
can with very cheap applications I take off the phone and re-install. Talks
is another example where you can restore registration.

Hi Eleanor,
As you say a warm or Cold reset is one possible solution,
but I don't really want to have to reformat the phone, as
that would mean KNFB reader as well as talks and all other
data that was put on the phone after purchase.
