Thanks for your word of caution.

As I said in a reply to Paula Pinder, I think we'll end up
taking Carol's phone to the Dealer from whom she purchased
it, as, if we try a reset using the method people have
described, Carol will lose her KNFB Reader program which we
won't be able to reinstall ourselves.
