Not if you get the phone ensured you don't need a contract for that also a lot of home insurance companies like domestic and general for example have phone cover as part of their out and about policy I think it's called. So realistically speaking you don't need to even bother with contract phone insurance because it's not necessary because you can get home insurance that covers it all. -----Original Message----- From: talks-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:talks-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of alexander shannon Sent: 11 July 2011 14:19 To: talks-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [talks-uk] Re: Thinking about a new phone but would like some advice in view of problems I've heard of regarding the E5 firmware and Talks. Hi Darren, I take your point, however, my reason for considering a contract is that I would like some security if my phone ever needed replacing again. If you've been following this thread, you'll remember me saying that this need for a new phone was caused by me having my N82 stolen, and if that were to happen in the future, I feel I would not want to have to pay for both a replacement to my Talks Licence and a new phone, and if I remember correctly, contract phones are replaceable at hardly any cost, whereas replacing a Pay as You Go phone is almost as expensive as buying a new phone if I am correct.
