When was that told. I don't think there is now. The State of Florida says
they are going to have to deal with almost 3 billion dollar short fall. If
you don't think this is not going to impact the city and county budget and
transportations budget think again. We still have the worst a head of us in
this as they call it a economic down turn. Down turn is not even going to
begin to describe what is going to happen in the near future. It is going to
be a full blown Depression. I don't like it but I am sure they are going to
try and budget a lot of the short fall on the back of employees. They are
also going to cut things to the core watch what I tell you. Audio signals
yes will be nice but getting them in this economy don't think it is coming
any time soon. Just my thoughts.

Chip,
I can tell you that on two of the three times I have requested audible
signals, they were put in within less than a day, so the money is coming
from somewhere. Also one time when I was talking with traffic engineering,
I was told to just let them know if we need another audible signals, because
there is plenty of money in the budget.
