RR Your response was a lie to the Florida DMV, Dummy, why dont you have your mail fowarded to Costa Rico, an example of Penny Wise, Dollar Foolish instead of crying like a baby blaming others rather then yourself? The reason I was fined is because I did not respond in time to a letter they sent me which I did not receive until a few days ago when I returned to the U.S.. I told them I was on a ship at sea and that's why I didn't receive the letter they sent me. Their response was that being at sea is no excuse. A responsible citizen would have had their mail forwarded to them or made other arrangements. What a bunch of assholes. All they want is your money. Governments must stay up at night dreaming up new laws and new ways to 'harvest' the citizenry. Don't you wonder why an average middle class Chinese earns $2,500/year and manages to survive but an American earning less than 6 times that amount cannot? It's because the U.S. Government steals their money in ways that most people do not even understand. -RR -----Original Message----- From: "D.J.J. Until the registration is canceled you have to pay insurance on any vehicle. If the plates are not returned, you owe registration fees and insurance. Return the plates and it all stops. Can't wait to get back to Costa Rica before I get thrown in jail indefinitely on "suspicion" of something and denied access to a lawyer.
