Alison, Do you have "Laptop" or "Desktop" set in your JAWS/Options/Basics Keyboard Layout Combo Box? Laptop will make the Caps Lock key act like a JAWS key unless you press it twice quickly. Desktop will make Caps Lock work like just a Caps Lock key.
