Do you think it makes any difference when they sell the gas. What difference
does it make?? I could never figure that one out. I always thought
environmentalist worked for the oil companies. Why sell 30 gallons of gas for
30 dollars when yon can sell 10 gallons for 30 dollars. Less cost to produce
the 10 gallons much more profit.
If I knew I could sell my gas on Monday then I would close my doors on
Tuesday and save the overhead. I would then go fishing on Tuesday.

Now I recall a very specific question about this with elections a few years
back. The decision was to have a traveling National. That is what we the
membership voted for, and that is what we are getting.
No, I won't be in Colorado, or Texas. They were being considered when I thought
I had 2 dogs that would be competitive. Now that that is not the case, I will
not consider 2 and 3 or more days of driving for any dog show at all. I have no
reason to.
If I had dogs to show, I doubt I would go to the west coast, but I would go a
long way. Things being what they are, I see no reason to stress myself or my
money.
This does not make for a good family vacation for me, my kids are in high
school, and cannot miss school at this point. My husband fears being away from
his job for more than a few days at a time. And when he does leave he ends up
sleeping with his blackberry on his ear. Not fun.
So, I feel the National should move around, and let the chips fall as they may.
The price of gas and hotels will do damage no matter what.
Speaking of gas!!! TOMORROW IS THE BOYCOTTE DAY FOR GAS. GET YOUR GAS TODAY,
AND NOT TOMORROW. LET THE OIL COMPANIES KNOW WE DO NOT WANT TO PAY $3 AND MORE
A GALLON.

Many of the people from the east coast made it clear that they would make no

It would appear we are really short on west nationals with only 9 out of 40
being in that zone so Evan's message indicating we need to go west seems very
warranted.
18 were or will be held in the middle or central area, 13 in the east. Ft
Collins being clearly east of the great divide should be a mid zone. It
appears there was a "relaxed" pattern for many for several years of mid, mid
east
then west, slightly broken up but not clearly defined. The survey in 2004
by the board indicated the choice of east, central, west, central and got the
most votes. It seems like a fair assessment. The survey and its maps were
also moved and adopted by the board, so I think they need to look at the
pattern of adoption and the division of zones.
In 40 years there has only been 1 national in Florida, and they have the 3rd
I believe highest membership state. I think we should re think
Jacksonville if it has everything to offer, or at least take a look at it - AND
I think
we should be looking for something in California.
Just some more facts to consider.
