[ SHOWGSD-L ] declining entrees

we are in the south and try to have a spec.show in the spring.the problem I see
is that we do not support each other with an entrée,also we do not have enough
handlers,so many want enter there nice dogs,and then comes the handling fees
and on top the expences what is a big drawback to many,I wish that the handler
just say handling fees and no other expence,maybe a small extra what we can
afford ,we know that if we want to show we have to pay and we pay big,so
that's limited our shows with the handlers and we are looking for all breed
shows where the handlers are less expencis.don't know how to fix it,so to hold
a spec,show is loosing money,and I think that's why lots of club fold,some
clubs doing very well and most are strugling to keep there head above high,we
will try to hold spec,shows as long as we have exhibitor come,doris
