Not 2 different dogs. Dawn Many of them do. In EVERY breed there are some who show exclusively in one venue or another though. Often all-rounders prefer a more "generic", less extreme version of a particular breed, while breeder-judges found judging specialties will rewards something outstanding about a particular dog while overlooking something an all-rounder may not. The issue becomes even more complex when a specialist judges at an all breed. (Hmmm...who to send to the group?) It's all a matter of honestly evaluating your dog and knowing likes/dislikes, but GSD are NO different than any other breed in that some do better in one venue over the other (although we DO have quite a bit more specialties than many other breeds.)
