Karen!...lol.....your argument violates the "orange juice' fallacy ......lets
say I have and AKC registered orange.......the seeds inside can produce nothing
other than oranges....can't get grapes, sunflowers, or coconuts........because
a tree is judged by the fruit it bares......now say I have two AKC German
Shepherds ( for the record I have 5..lol)....now I breed one of my males with
one of my females.......oh no!...I get a WHITE dog.....check mate!......it's a
WHITE German Shepherd...Ed

I could argue that the above is not quite true. If we
agree that white is not merely a "color" but a masking
gene that performs a definite, unique function, and if we
can agree that a normally colored GSD is not white, then
we must conclude that the white GSD *is* genetically
different from the GSD *because* it possesses a genetic
trait which no normally colored GSD can exhibit: the
masking gene. And while it is true that normally colored
dogs can inherit and pass the masking gene along, unless a
GSD has both copies of the gene, it can never be white.
