It sure does seem that it was better in the past, when we all walked to
school ten miles through the snow, all uphill both ways. And, we didn't have
shoes, like the kids today.
The music was with words you could understand. We all wore sensible
clothes, not like the kids today, and our morals were so much better. No
young
girls got pregnant, and no one took drugs.
We didn't need television, we had radio. We didn't need cell phones, we had
a party line. Girls never asked boys out on dates, and when our parents
had problems, they worked them out and stayed together.
Glen Miller was the right music to listen to, not the rapp the kids go with
today. We had classy ladies like Liz Taylor, Madonna, and Debbie Renolds.
What's the matter with kids today? Things were so much better in the old
days, we never had dogs that barked, never had torsion, never had bad
temperment, never backed off from a judge, and all lived to be 16.
I sure do miss those days.
