The local all breed club that I belong to used to have
obedience/conformation classes that were open to members and
non-members. That's how they got a lot of members. When I first joined
about three years ago, they had an attendance of 30-40 people at their
meetings. They lost their location for their classes and have not been
able to find another. I haven't been to a meeting in about two years.
The minutes from the last general membership meeting showed they had 12
members in attendance.

Our clubs will not survive unless we offer something for people to do
with their dogs.
