If the Regional clubs have nothing to keep the old members interested then how 
can they hope to attract new?? For the one hundredth time. The only way any 
regional club is going to survive is to be a full service club.If all they want 
to do is to host 2 specialties a year it does not  take a ton of people to do 
that. It doesn't even take a "club to do that. All it takes to put on 2 shows 
per year is someone who has the time and money to sponsor it.
   
  If the parent club gives the failing regional clubs financial support do you 
think that is going to help them? They may be able to host a show but it won't 
make it a GSD Club. Poor management and poor leadership is what kills regional 
clubs. 
   
  Why does it appear that the most active clubs are in the least populated 
areas?
