And yet membership is down.
I have to think long and hard before renewing next year.
I remember when I first called to inquire about membership. Blanche
asked, "YOU DON'T BREED WHITES DO YOU????" More like demanded, I guess she
was
getting hard of hearing. I have nothing against whites, my point is the
rules, the standard MEANT something. If I didn't follow the rules, it was
very clear to me, Blanche wasn't going to send me an application. VERY
CLEAR.
I wonder what my Connie Beckhardt, Lamar Kuhns or John DeHope would say
about all of this inclusiveness???? Never mind trying to answer anybody, I
KNOW what they'd say...can almost hear John's big voice booming over my
phone
now.
I sure don't like the way this club is going.....
But, the good news is I'll enjoy my dogs, club, no club, no matter.
