I have been preaching marketing for years and years - however there has been
such a battle to prevent anything but the BOG providing members info that
suddenly having board business instantly posted in public while the membership
is not informed is a bit surprising.
Had we been informed that the information about board meetings would now be
streamed on facebook, I would have cheered as I am all for openness, although I
would prefer a members area. But you can't spend years berating people who
wanted it all out in the open to the membership and suddenly skip the members
and go public without an explanation of the change. It is appropriate to notify
the membership of policy changes.

That's what we're trying to do, Evan. But it seems there are a few that
don't want us to do that, I don't understand why. I've read their opinions
and still don't understand why they don't want us to move forward.
Facebook and the other social medias don't cost the club a dime and they
reach out to millions of people. If you like it then join in, if you don't
then don't, that's ok too.
