If there is a change of judge in an AKC show exhibitors do have the choice
of not showing and getting a refund. They must do so before the opening of the
show that morning but it can be done. I am only quoting what AKC does I
have no opinion as to whether the PC should refund or not. I just see in your
post you say that the PC follows what AKC does and I think they do it
different since they do not refund.

That confused me too, it may be that some haven't asked for a refund, but I
thought that's was still an option.
Let it be clear, I am not affected by the judges change. I am just wondering
how the situation will be handled.
