If I have any other dog then a German Shepherd, I would have a Pembroke Corgi.  
I miss the one I had, they are a German Shepherd in mini size.  She ruled the 
shepherds.  I also love Newfies but can not get past the drooling. : )

Dogs are cool...all of them. But, to me the GSD is the one breed that stands 
ut.  I have had Salukis, IGs, Yukies (Yorkies), Goldens, Rotties and my mom 
oves Silkies and so we have one of those.  I did an awful lot with my 
alukis...had the top obedience 'Luki in the country at one time...almost had 
is UD until he passed away from a stroke.  I think about my GSDs and there is 
omething special about them.  I have 2 boys now and 
 am so proud to take them out on walks together....I mean I am small and to see 
e walking these 2 big boys must look a sight!  Working them is so fun.  As I 
et older I wonder if I will have the energy and will to handle GSDs.  Not 
ure.   I think that I might have another Saluki at some point as I love their 
razy minds.  They are not the easiest dog to live with, but they are so

My neighbors laugh at me because I just am conversing with one of them  
nd I'll say, with no change in my tone, "Dreamer, where did you leave  
our ball?" And he'll look at me and go right to where he left it and  
ring it to me.  After a bit, (yes, I throw it a couple time for  
eward LOL), I say, in different ways, not always the same words,  
well, I have to go in now Have a nice day", and Dreamer will just  
ead for the house, waiting at the gate for me to open it.   He  
robably knows more words than a four, five  year old... maybe a  
eenager who doesn't want to hear :-)
The other two are just as tuned in and we have lots of fun impressing  
ur neighbors.  Now if they could just tell Big Black male Dreamer
