One more add-on to my post..
Only outstanding dogs should be allowed to get away with a major or serious
fault.... Unfortunately, people loose sight of that and once an outstanding dog
with a fault wins, everyone thinks they can do it. Number #1 dal all-time is an
OUTSTANDING liver and white bitch missing nose trim (a MAJOR fault). Once she
started winning, everyone thought they could get away with it..... and we
started seeing mediocre dogs with missing trim in the ring - and people
complaining about their dog with the missing trim not winning.
It's a viscious circle....
