I will not take little puppies of any age to the vet unless they are sick and
really need to go. Having one shot in a puppy does not protect them against
anything. The vet comes to my house when they are six weeks old and checks
them out and gives them their first shot. It is $40.00 for a house call and
$10.00 a puppy to examine it which includes the shot. It is so much easier than
hauling a litter of puppies to the vet and safer also.
