I have never, nor will I ever "defend Michael Vick"....I have a full time job 
defending Ed Hill.....Ed

Possibly the difference between you and Mr. Vick is that you did 
something with your life. Here was a man given an education and the 
opportunity to shine at a sport that allowed him to become a hero of 
sorts...and throughout school and his pro career, his only friends were the 
boys he grew up with...who didn't have the same opportunities. He made no 
close friends apart from those chilidhood ones...so I have to conclude that 
there is something seriously wrong with the man. He could have tried to be 
what so many thought he was...instead, he took his education and his career 
and the money and made himself a big shot with the little guys he had known 
all his life. Did he need them fawning over him THAT badly? .
And it appears he never had any kind of relationship with a woman at 
all...no girlfriends came forth at any time, in any discussion...I'm not 
implying that he is gay, just that somewhere down deep in Michael Vick there 
is more than one flaw...at least, it appears that way. Not one serious 
adult relationship of any kind, male OR female..........doesn't it seem 
strange to you? Did he just want to be the head honcho with "his boys," 
or is he just the jerk he appears to be?
And while it's true he could, given the opportunity, do our cause, as you 
put it, some good, I doubt that would happen no matter what.
He stood around quietly, professing to know he'd done wrong (yeah, right) 
and letting himself be bamboozled AGAIN...this time by PETA...he had his 
chance to make some donations to the welfare groups that rescued and 
continue to rescue his dogs...and did he? No, it never occurred to him. 
He's not worth your time, and I don't understand why you keep defending him.
On a more somber topic, I feel very sorry for you and your bitch, as 
having to make decisions such as the one you are thinking of is the worst 
part of owning and loving these creatures......... God bless you 
both........(you and the dog, not Michael Vick, altho he needs it, too)
