Spirit my dog's tail! The words are incredibly important in any legal
document. Ten years from now someone won't remember the spirit and someone
like myself who incorporates alternative medicine with dogs and family will be
deemed guilty of not providing adequate medical care for my animals. Someone
who has to work a ten hour day may be accused of not providing his dogs with
sufficient exercise or socialization -- never mind that person comes home, dead
tired, and plays ball with this dogs for an hour.
The language of any document that has the potential to affect another person
must be such that someone who is practicing good animal care, as demonstrated
by the animals themselves, not be inadvertently punished by "good intentions"
and "spirit". IMHO.

Questions like this dilute the SPIRIT of a document. Same problem I ran
into in the BC revision. C'mon....we understand what is meant by "appropriate"
and "exceptional"....We can pick every single word apart and end up with
nothing. To me, it's self-defeating.
