There is a pet supply store (independent) here that sells puppies
brought in by Hunte. I questioned them about the ethics and they told
me how well kept the puppies were that come to them, and how well they
in turn care for them. No, buyers are not screened. They have 30 days
to return the puppy. No, there are no contracts - like for health, hd
etc. Another pet store - well known - that has training classes for
puppies/dogs, told me that most of the pets brought to their classes
that had been purchased at HIGH prices from this other store, are
inferior bred animals. It grieves us all that this is happening and I
will not buy from this independent store and they have the best
selection of dog food around but so be it! Anne, TN
