I really have a lot to say, but that will come later. For now I want to say
this....
I am tired of hearing about how much certain people have done for the breed and
that no matter what they do now, it should be ignored because of everything
they
have done previously. I have respect for what they have done in the past, but
put more value on what & how they contribute now and in the future.
And it should be stated the other way. What has the breed done for THEM???
And Sheree M.- I am not speaking about Jim. I certainly do not have enough
info
to come to any type of conclusion as to what you and Jim did or should have
done. But there are others involved that have tainted our BOD, the Parent Club
and it's membership.
I will respond to your statement about Hunte meeting the basic criteria of our
bylaws etc. I tried to find the email where I asked the 8 NO's why they felt
they could justifyably vote no within our Bylaws. Gary S. replied and quoted a
section where it states that members uphold the integrity of breeding etc.
(Gary please re-post if you can, so that I don't quote too poorly!) In other
words there were 8 board members that felt very strongly that they were within
the bylaws to say no to Hunte. So, it was not as clear of a picture as some
are
painting to HAVE to let him in.

Mackie...EVERYONE I know in the sport gives up a "normal" life for their
dogs...they all are so invested in the care of these animals...most have no
kennel help and care deeply 24/7...Most consider it a lifetime
commitment...so they are not the only ones!!!!
