Another problem, and I hesitate to talk about it, is that the GSD rehoming
organizations have been placing GSDs in homes that simply should not be placed.
Just recently, I was listening to a couple of very well meaning people talking
about how many aggressive GSDs they were working with at their organization,
and showing their bite marks and discussing situations of fear biting, impulse
aggression, etc., etc. Not all dogs can be placed, and when a GSD is placed
and becomes aggressive, that dog is returned and it is a home that will not
take another GSD. I am hearing more about those aggressive GSDs, and somewhere
a very difficult decision has to be made for all of them.
